Okatse Canyon, Kutaisi

An amazing natural attraction to spend time there. From the tickets office tu walk for 3 km through incredible forest till you reach the cliff terrace, then you walk on the terrace till the view point , and you exit the terrace from different spot. You need to walk back till the tickets office from the same path through the forest. Don’t forget to eat the wild blueberry on the way.

We had a foggy weather so it was touch and go whether the site would be open. But we got lucky. There's a long metal walkway hung high up the cliff, from which you cab look straight down into the abyss. At the end there's a hanging balcony with great views Many stairs down to the walkway as well as back up. To return to the entrance you need to climb quite a few stairs to get to a walkway which leads back. This hanging walkway is not for people with fear of heights.
