A huge curving stone-plated concrete structure, Russian Georgian Friendship Monument was built in 1983 to commemorate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk, which put Georgia under Russian protectorate. On the inside of the round concrete wall, you'll find an impressive mosaic mural painted in vivid colors, depicting scenes from Russian and Georgian history. A round terrace offers an almost 360-degree view of the snowcapped surroundings.     The views are incredible, specially from the monument. The whole view point was beautiful. Amazing greenery and mountains from every angle. At the top of the viewpoint there is the famous monument, the main attraction of the viewpoint, the monument it self was beautiful but with the added views of the mountains the experience becomes completely majestic, a definite place to go if you are traveling to Georgia.

    Amazing place. And a must visit place if you are visiting Georgia. Would recommend to spend more time there if you are a mountain lover. Winter time will be preferred if you love the snow. But roads will be blocked but you will enjoy.
