  • Worth a visit. Ladies must wear head scarf, skirts, etc. Remains of fortress like walls apparent. Quite a climb!

  • A must visit place if your going to Batumi. Far from the loud city this place is indeed the most peaceful scenic beauty from where u can view the whole city, especially the Black sea. And it's the most beautiful place located on top of a mountain, surrounded by total greenery around. The only thing is you need to be appropriately dressed to visit inside the cathedral. No shorts are allowed but it's ok if you are not aware about it and you go in your summer outfit. They will provide you with a cloth to wrap around your waist and cover your legs. This applies to both men and women.
  • *This is a review on a Presbyterian church, NOT the Orthodox one on the mountain (different location) with the same name. Unfriendly attitude. Strongly not recommended for foreigners' families with young kids. Members of the congregation showed a racist attitude toward a Korean pastor during preaching. A typical soviet-minded community where the "order" prevails over love and hospitality. They ought to learn more of Matthew 19:14 (Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven) and Luke 11:52: (...you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering).
