Create an itinerary including Astronomical Clock
Overlooking the public square at the heart of the city, Astronomical Clock is fixed onto the facade of the former National Bank building. The clock will tell you the correct time, of course--it also provides relative positions of the sun, moon, and major planets, and gives the time of sunrise and sunset. • The main business at Europe square is gambling and unfortunately not science. The clock serves an ornamental purpose. Perhaps for this reason it is not working and nobody seems to care about...

  • Astronomical clock tower is located in old Batumi, near Europe Square. The building was National bank of Georgia, but I'm not sure if it still possess to the bank. The clock has special devices for showing us not only real time but also position of the planets like sun and moon and zodiac constelations. It also shows the meridian, the horizon, sunrise and sunset according to the sun motion, the age of the moon and the actual motion of the moon around the earth. Astronomical Clock was created in Germany.
  • I like it but I wish I knew more about it. No enough information about it on the web or the place. I love the colours and the design and wished that they have a guide to explain more for you about
