Dedicated to the works of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin, Musee Rodin is home to the master sculptor's workshop and contains most of his significant creations including "The Thinker," "The Kiss," and "The Gates of Hell." You'll find many of the statues displayed in the lush gardens surrounding the villa. The art on display inside is very diverse, as Rodin was an art collector in addition to being an artist himself. The awesome collection includes 6,600 sculptures, 8,000 drawings, 8,000 old photographs, and 7,000 objets d’art. Paintings you can see from Rodin’s personal collection include works by Vincent van Gogh, Camille Claudel, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Great little museum and gardens. Not overwhelming in size, very accessible, audio tour was great. Gardens are a great way to see the sculptures as Rodin wanted them viewed.

Beautiful museum that’s quite hidden! You don’t need to buy ahead, you can just go there and buy there (no queue when we were there). There’s a beautiful garden and a wonderful house with various sculptures and artwork. Recommend! Pros: - Beautiful sculptures - Garden you can chill at - Cafe inside - Don’t need to buy tickets ahead - Not too crowded Cons: - Not the nicest toilets - No AC

Rodin Museum is located a short distance from the Eiffel Tower. A visit to Paris would be incomplete without just seeing the Eiffel Tower. So it should also be seen.... The Musee Rodin's sculptures may be the main attraction, but his paintings, sketches and ceramics are also worth a visit. Three stars because the museum is great, a haven of peace in the heart of Paris. Not so crowded, the gardens are great, the museum is beautiful. Although there is not enough space to sit inside the building, it is very hot inside, the wind was unbearable. But you won't miss the ground. The seven-acre garden showcases Rodin's work in a stunning natural setting. The perfect harmony of this garden, built around the new visitor circuit between Rodin's monument and the Hotel Biron, will make you want to stay in Paris. I enjoyed myself..beautiful place and decorated with sculptures. To me it is super museum.
