You can visit the famous Roden 'kiss' outside the museum with other sculptures around the gardens. This is a smaller museum, which was just right for me. The website said must have a reservation...

Best museum ever in Paris: the rooms sorting is the best. I loved the comparison and influence between artists and also the reconstruction of Paul Guillaume's house. The experience of Monet's water lilies is astonishing, I would like to stay inside a lot.

The waterlily works of Claude Monet for which the building was specifically built, are stunning, and peaceful, as the highlight of the museum. On the floor underneath are some impressionist art of interest but also sometimes some rather strange modern art. Take note that the musuem starts to clear everyone out well in advance of closing time, so not all of the timed ticket entrances available are suitable. Also, it's not allowed to wear a backpack on your back.
