I am so glad that I stumbled upon this place. I was heading to the Catacombs and took what I expected to be a brief 5 minute detour though the cemetery. I ended up spending 45 minutes, at least...

This is a beautiful cemetery with lots of history and famous French. But so are tons of other cemeteries and I wouldn't take a detour for this. A little spooky though when you realise that people are still put to rest here.
