Fascinating historical landmark in a lovely tiny town. We spent 5 days enjoying everything that was open in March 2020, right before the world shut down. Château Royal de Collioure was the highlight of our vacation. Be sure to find the dudgeon! Local people were kind and helpful, and the Saturday farmer's market was great!

We travelled 30km to visit this castle but there was no free parking space near or further ... so frustrating! There are 6 parkings nearby and all were full. When we finally found one spot, it was for one hour only... What a shame...
