We are from Colorado and so of course we had to visit. It was fun talking with Theo the train-maker assistant and “son” who has seen the evolution of this passion project for decades.

We loved this place. I guess some people may be disappointed and say it doesn’t offer value for money, but it has been made by someone who has an obvious love for model trains and model making. It isn’t run as a business. It’s a man who spends six months of the year working on his model and the other six months showing it to people who are interested. We spent quite a while sat listening to the noise of the trains go round then it started to rain a little but that didn’t matter as the trains are designed to run outside.
