Founded in 1982, Swazi Candles produces and sells candles, vegetable glycerin soaps, and body balms, as well as wax-covered LED lights. Interact with artisans at their workshop and learn about "millifiore," the ancient technique in which hard wax is used to create a colorful shell that doesn’t melt with the candle. The onsite restaurant serves tasty milkshakes, while the nearby crafts market offers a wide selection of non-candle souvenirs. I usually don't go to candle shops but this candle shop is unique. Just walking into the shop we felt an energy I could only describe as joy. The staff is friendly and attentive. The handcrafted candles by the artists are beautiful and adorable. Being able to watch the artists work and ask them questions made the experience special. Great Shop.

Swazi Candles is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Eswatini. The candles are beautiful and you can purchase hundreds of different designs. The outside of the candles does not burn so that you can put a tea light inside and keep using it. The craftsmen and craftswomen demonstrate their trade here as well. Also on sale are baskets, t-shirts and soaps.
