Set in the grand Portugese Court of Justice, the modern and well-equipped permanent exhibition started in 2012, and holds a large amount of information regarding the country's fight for independence.   • I spent a few hours at this very impressive museum. It is brimming with information laid out clearly and chronologically. Entrance fee is $1 and it is cool and comfortable inside.

  • A good little place to learn about the war, war crimes and the Timorese resistance, fee is only 1 USD/person. Will take an hour to go through. No photos allowed
