The massive, free-standing rock formed millions of years ago makes such a dramatic impact on the scenery that it was worshipped as a god by the indigenous communities. Climb 200 m (656 ft) up the dizzying spiral staircase carved into the back of the rock to enjoy what some Colombians describe as "the best view in the world."     Interior steps are narrow & wet. Exterior steps are steep, but there’s railing. It took us 15 mins. going up, 10 mins. coming down. Interior stairs may backup to allow others to pass. NB: rest room...
