Cayman Turtle Centre: Island Wildlife Encounter, West Bay

An amazing place to spend your day with kids or without. Different packages offered and would recommend getting the package that allows you to snorkel with the turtles. Also has a pool and water slide for kids to enjoy. Better to start early and then relax on the beach area and also has restaurant on site to eat at. Be sure to note the timings of the feedings and activities. Also has small butterfly area and aviary, but not much to see. They have information center with a video and lots of information about turtles which is a good break to enjoy.

We explored the Turtle Center as part of the excursion on our cruise. We enjoyed the park very much! But had to give a special shout out to Tony our tour guide. He did a great job explaining the facility and how they help the turtles year round. He was very funny and kind! There were two different places to eat but we ate the bigger place in the park. It was lunch type foods with a bar. We were able look at the VERY large turtles and then enter into small tanks with smaller turtles. There was an area to snorkel and a few other activities but we didn’t do any of those. Would be a fun place to bring kids!
