Do go up (stairs only) to the highest floor, which you can have an unblocked view of the valley. Truly beautiful. This is a beautiful temple with interesting history. A must to visit!

30-45 min of Trek will take you up there. Temple is a 3 storey building with kagye, gongtu and phurpa statues. Might not be interesting if you are not a fan of architecture and budhist culture. But to be honest the view from top (terrace) of the temple is worth visiting. Panoramic view of Punakha valley is amazing.

The temple is located on the hill so It's about 45 minutes walk up on a nice trail with nice view of the river and the valley. Once on the top you have a beautiful scenery of the temple but you have to be there the get the feeling and the aura which can't be put in words.....
