  • Do go up (stairs only) to the highest floor, which you can have an unblocked view of the valley. Truly beautiful. This is a beautiful temple with interesting history. A must to visit!

  • 30-45 min of Trek will take you up there. Temple is a 3 storey building with kagye, gongtu and phurpa statues. Might not be interesting if you are not a fan of architecture and budhist culture. But to be honest the view from top (terrace) of the temple is worth visiting. Panoramic view of Punakha valley is amazing.
  • The temple is located on the hill so It's about 45 minutes walk up on a nice trail with nice view of the river and the valley. Once on the top you have a beautiful scenery of the temple but you have to be there the get the feeling and the aura which can't be put in words.....
