See the charming collection at the Museum of Miniature Books, a museum that displays thousands of tiny books from different parts of the world. Open since 2002, the museum was established by Zarifa Salahova, who has been collecting miniature publications for years. Admire a large variety of miniscule books divided into a range of themes, from Soviet and Azerbaijani classics to international masterpieces. All of them are readable, although you might need a magnifying glass for the especially small specimens. Highlights of the museum include a 13th-century edition, as well as astoundingly small works that measure just 2 mm in length and width. • As a tourist, I am impressed with the friendly and pleasant approach to the lady (Ms. Lina). She was so kind and tried her very best to talk about the history behind the miniature books museum and about the artist behind the remarkable work in a professional way. I wish all the museums must have people like Ms. Lina, who was so dedicated to their work. The miniature book works are mind-blowing. I am so happy that we visited this place and it is going to stay on our minds forever.
  • It is a nice little museum close to the palace. The lady there was friendly and gave us information about the books that are sorted based on where they were published around the world. My daughter was pleased to see Shakespeares, Little Prince etc in miniature form. Entry is free.
