The gardens of Schonbrunn palace--Schonbrunner Gardens--are as lavish and intricate as the palace itself. Within the gardens, you'll find a zoo, botanical garden, orangery, palm house, and a maze. Considered an extension of the palace, the gardens are accordingly designed with Baroque principles in mind. Notice the symmetry of the flowerbeds and strips of colored stones, which are inspired by embroidery patterns. Get lost in the maze, which was replanted in 1998 and closely follows the original layout. Find your way to the center, where you'll reach the viewing platform. We truly enjoyed these gardens! Well manicured with beautiful flowers and color. They are huge, to put it lightly, so be prepared to walk!

Baroque design garden with grand vistas. Very well maintained. It also incorporates one of the oldest zoos in the world in one section of the garden. The zoo has a very wide variety of birds and animals from polar to tropical environment. These environments are very nicely created on premises. They have a system of offering year long passes to the child and one parent to allow frequent visits. Feeding times of various animals are displayed on the boards outside each enclosure. This helps children schedule their visit to see how they are fed. We saw feeding of seals. That was very nice entertaining experience. Overall it is a good place to visit if you have time in Vienna, particularly during summer season.

The biggest park I've ever been to. Amazing and spectacular place. I recommend to visit. When you are here, visit the zoo and greenhouse that is inside this park. However, it is necessary to pay the entrance fee, but both of these places are perfect. All this will take you almost all day. The most beautiful part is probably the Japanese garden, so be sure to visit it. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
