Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
For shopping fun, head to La Boqueria or Passeig de Gracia. Get some historical perspective at Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas. And it doesn't end there: wander the streets of El Barri Gòtic, pause for some serene contemplation at Barcelona Cathedral, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa de La Barceloneta, and make a trip to Casa Mila - La Pedrera.

On the 6th (Mon), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Real Basilica de San Francisco el Grande, then admire the landmark architecture of Royal Palace of Madrid, and then admire the masterpieces at Prado National Museum. Start off your visit on the 8th (Wed): contemplate the long history of Plaza de España, then contemplate the long history of Royal Alcázar of Seville, then visit Barrio Santa Cruz, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Torre Giralda.
