Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Take a break from the city and head to Colle del Gianicolo and Riserva Naturale Monte Soratte. You'll explore and learn at Vatican Museums and Galleria Borghese. Take a break from Rome with a short trip to Riva di Polline in Trevignano Romano, about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: delve into the distant past at Pantheon, steep yourself in history at Colosseum, take a stroll through Trastevere, and get engrossed in the history at Musei Capitolini.

Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
