Honfleur is a town surrounding a beautiful little 17th-century harbor in Lower Normandy.
Explore hidden gems such as Pont de Normandie and Notre Dame de Grace. Get out of town with these interesting Honfleur side-trips: Cabourg (Thalazur Cabourg, Hippodrome Cabourg, &more), Dives-sur-Mer (Le Marche Les Halles, Les Halles Medievales, &more) and Golf Club de Cabourg Le Home (in Varaville). Taking its name from a cluster of rocks off the English Channel coast, Calvados caters to your every holiday whim in its prestigious seaside resorts, but the department is most famous as the landing site of Allied troops on the beaches of the Bay of the Seine on the D-Day invasion of June 6, 1944.
