Amboise is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. Chateau of Azay-le-Rideau and Chateau de Cheverny are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Popular historic sites such as Chateau Royal de Blois and Chateau d'Amboise are in your itinerary. When in Amboise, make a side trip to see Château de Villandry in Villandry, approximately 44 minutes away.
