A global center of finance and transportation, Frankfurt is perhaps best known for its futuristic cityscape.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Thu): buy something for everyone on your list at Bauernmarkt Konstablerwache, buy something for everyone on your list at Galeria Kaufhof Frankfurt An der Hauptwache, then examine the collection at German Film Museum, and finally don't miss a visit to Roemerberg. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 25th (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Paul's Church (Paulskirche), take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. Bartholomew (Dom St. Bartholomaus), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Old Nicholas Church (Alte Nikolaikirche), then admire the masterpieces at Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Liebfrauen, Frankfurt.

Sao Paulo, Brazil to Frankfurt is an approximately 15- hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Brasilia Time to Central European Time, which is usually a 4 hour difference. In September, Frankfurt is little chillier than Sao Paulo - with highs of 24°C and lows of 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 26th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel to Zurich.

Get a sense of the local culture at Munich Residenz and Altstadt von Fuessen. Museum-lovers will get to explore Lenbachhaus and NS-Dokumentationszentrum Muenchen. Venture out of the city with trips to Benediktinerkloster St. Mang (in Fussen), Schloss Hohenschwangau (in Hohenschwangau) and Regensburg (Altes Rathaus, Basilika St. Emmeram, &more).
