Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Sintra National Palace, Tram 28, Alfama, and other attractions you added. Do some cultural sightseeing at Castelo de S. Jorge and Park and National Palace of Pena. Your inner history buff will appreciate Belém Tower and Quinta da Regaleira. Change things up with a short trip to Praia da ursa in Sintra (about 44 minutes away). Porto Alegre, Brazil to Lisbon is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. You'll lose 3 hours traveling from Porto Alegre to Lisbon due to the time zone difference. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Porto Alegre in April: high temperatures in Lisbon hover around 24°C and lows are around 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Thu) to allow time to travel to Paris.

Start off your visit on the 26th (Fri): take in nature's colorful creations at Luxembourg Gardens, get a taste of the local shopping with Champs-Elysees, then step off the mainland to explore Île de la Cité, and finally explore the world behind art at Louvre Museum. On the next day, admire all the interesting features of Parc des Princes, snap pictures at Pont-Neuf, then snap pictures at Pont Alexandre III, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris.

Traveling by combination of flight, bus, and train from Lisbon to Paris takes 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. The time zone changes from Western European Time (WET) to Central European Time (CET), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Lisbon in April; daily highs in Paris reach 18°C and lows reach 6°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sat) so you can take a train to Marne-la-Vallee.
