Traveling by car from Athens to Delphi takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and taxi; or take a bus. Traveling from Athens in January, expect slightly colder with lows of 36°F in Delphi. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Wed) so you can drive to Kalambaka.

The gateway to one of the largest monastery complexes in Greece, the small town of Kalambaka nestles against a landscape of imposing rock formations rising 400 m (1,300 ft) into the air. Nearly leveled during World War II, the town rebuilt and reinvented itself in the post-war period, quickly becoming one of the region's major travel destinations.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Ieros Naos Kimiseos tis Theotokou, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Monastery of the Great Meteoron, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Meteora.

Getting from Delphi to Kalambaka by car takes about 3 hours. Other options: do a combination of taxi and train; or take a bus. In January, Kalambaka is slightly colder than Delphi - with highs of 43°F and lows of 29°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 5th (Thu) so you can travel to Naxos.

Traveling by combination of train, flight, and taxi from Kalambaka to Naxos takes 7.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus, flight, and taxi; or do a combination of train, shuttle, flight, and taxi. In January, Naxos is a bit warmer than Kalambaka - with highs of 57°F and lows of 48°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Perissa.
