On the 1st (Thu), wander the streets of Cannaregio, admire the landmark architecture of Doges' Palace, then take in the views from Ponte dei Sospiri, then don't miss a visit to St. Mark's Square, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Mary of the Friars. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Fri): snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, explore the activities along Canal Grande, then explore the world behind art at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and finally take a stroll through Dorsoduro.

Anne Frank House and Begijnhof will appeal to history buffs. Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum will appeal to museum buffs. Go for a jaunt from Amsterdam to Zandvoort to see Zandvoort aan Zee about 42 minutes away.
