Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.Kick off your visit on the 30th (Sat): admire the striking features of Porta della Carta, steep yourself in history at Ponte dei Sospiri, then admire the masterpieces at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, then contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, and finally snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto. On the next day, appreciate the extensive heritage of St. Mark's Square, admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, then get to know the fascinating history of Campo del Ghetto, and finally examine the collection at Museo Ebraico di Venezia.
