Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
On the 30th (Thu), admire the masterpieces at Rijksmuseum, then admire the masterpieces at Van Gogh Museum, and then take an in-depth tour of Anne Frank House. Keep things going the next day: take in the architecture and atmosphere at De Duif, browse the exhibits of Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House), and then admire nature's wide array of creatures at ARTIS.

Fly from Prague to Amsterdam in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and train; or drive. August in Amsterdam sees daily highs of 26°C and lows of 15°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 31st (Fri) early enough to take a train to Paris.

A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Get some historical perspective at Arc de Triomphe and Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. Appreciate the collections at Louvre Museum and Musee Rodin. Step out of Paris to go to Versailles and see Palace of Versailles, which is approximately 48 minutes away. You can take a train from Amsterdam to Paris in 3.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. In August, plan for daily highs up to 29°C, and evening lows to 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Barcelona.
