Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Head to La Boqueria and MACBA Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelonafor some retail therapy. Get some cultural insight at Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell. A charming old city originally founded as a Roman colony, Valencia is the country’s third-largest urban center.
Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias and Gallery Varga will appeal to museum buffs. Take a break from the city and head to Playa de Levante and Guadalest Valley.
