A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Louvre Museum and Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Your inner history buff will appreciate Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris and Palace of Versailles. There's lots more to do: admire the masterpieces at Musee d'Orsay, kick back and relax at Paris Plage, shop like a local with Champs-Elysees, and stop by Le Marais.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sun): get to know the fascinating history of Piazza San Marco, then admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, then steep yourself in history at Ponte dei Sospiri, and finally see the interesting displays at Doge's Palace.

Traveling by flight from Paris to Venice takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. In March, plan for daily highs up to 17°C, and evening lows to 5°C. You'll have a few hours on the 19th (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling to Budapest.

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Popular historic sites such as Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church are in your itinerary. Step out of the city life by going to City Park Városliget and Danube River. There's still lots to do: boost your wellbeing at a local thermal spa, browse the fresh offerings at Central Market Hall, take a stroll through Andrassy Avenue, and look for all kinds of wild species at Sas Hill Nature Reserve.

You can fly from Venice to Budapest in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a shuttle. Traveling from Venice in March, plan for little chillier nights in Budapest, with lows around 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Thu) early enough to travel to Stockholm.
