Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Get some cultural insight at Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batllo. Shop till you drop at La Boqueria and Passeig de Gracia. There's lots more to do: stroll around Parc Guell, admire the striking features of Casa Amatller, stroll through Playa de La Barceloneta, and take a stroll through El Barri Gòtic.

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.
Alhambra and Basilica de San Juan de Dios are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visit Playa de la Cala el Canuelo and Burriana Beach for some beach relaxation. Go for a jaunt from Granada to Nerja to see Fundación Cueva de Nerja about 1h 10 min away. The adventure continues: take in nature's colorful creations at Generalife and stop by Munira.

Getting from Barcelona to Granada by flight takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight and train; or drive.
