Start off your visit on the 12th (Sun): take a stroll through Marbella Old Quarter, identify plant and animal life at Butterfly Park of Benalmadena, look for gifts at Recuerdame, then take a stroll through La Carihuela, and finally take an in-depth tour of Alcazaba. On the 13th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: browse the eclectic array of goods at Mercado Central Atarazanas, then explore the world behind art at Museo Picasso Malaga, and then kick back and relax at Playa de Burriana.

Getting from Madrid to Malaga by train takes about 3 hours. Other options: fly; or drive. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Madrid in February: high temperatures in Malaga hover around 20°C and lows are around 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Granada.

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.
On the 14th (Tue), steep yourself in history at Generalife, then steep yourself in history at Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla, and then admire the landmark architecture of Alhambra. Keep things going the next day: stop by Lolita's Closet, appreciate the extensive heritage of Albayzin, appreciate the extensive heritage of Mirador de San Nicolas, then stop by Artesania Del Arbol, and finally stop by Munira C B.

You can drive from Malaga to Granada in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Malaga in February, expect Granada to be little chillier, temps between 13°C and 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) early enough to travel to Barcelona.
