The country's second city, Cebu City boasts a number of interesting colonial buildings, thriving commercial areas, and historic temples.
Kick off your visit on the 25th (Sat): identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, then contemplate the long history of Magellan's Cross, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica del Santo Nino. Boracay is known for beaches, nature, and wildlife. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, kick back and relax at Diniwid Beach, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Yapak Beach (Puka Shell Beach).

Traveling by combination of flight and ferry from Cebu City to Boracay takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and bus. When traveling from Cebu City in December, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Boracay: temperatures range from 32°C by day to 28°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Coron.

The capital of the Philippines and the "Pearl of the Orient," Manila truly resembles a gem: rough on the outside, but glittering within.
