In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 4th (Mon), take in the local highlights with Walking tours, take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Milano, and then admire the landmark architecture of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Keep things going the next day: stroll the grounds of Monumental Cemetery, then admire the masterpieces at Pinacoteca di Brera, and then get engrossed in the history at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana.

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Florence: Siena (Duomo di Siena, Piazza del Campo, &more), Leaning Tower of Pisa (in Pisa) and St Martin Cathedral (in Lucca).
