City of Seven Hills
Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Obidos Village and Basilica da Santissima Trindade. Get out of town with these interesting Lisbon side-trips: Evora (Templo Romano de Evora (Templo de Diana), Centro Historico de Evora, &more), Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima (in Fatima) and Batalha Monastery (in Batalha).
