A historical fishing town on the scenic south coast of the Southern Peninsula, Grindavik boasts one main attraction, the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa.
On the 7th (Mon), boost your wellbeing at a local thermal spa. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: witness a stunning natural landmark at Krysuvik, then explore the striking landscape at Brimketill, then take in the natural beauty of Gunnuhver Hot Springs, and finally examine the collection at Viking World.

Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
