Klongs, Bangkok

#6 of 37 in Parks in Bangkok
Water Body · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Take a tour of Bangkok's Klongs--the canals and waterways that crisscross the Thai capital--in a private long-tail boat. Admire the buildings which teeter on the edge of the banks, catch a glimpse of locals going about their daily lives, grab a cold beer or some refreshing fruit from a passing boat vendor, and spot the birds, fish, and other wildlife that thrive even in the heart of the city. In addition to being one of the best ways for sightseers to explore Bangkok, the klongs provide some of the quickest public transport here, avoiding the congestion that plagues the city's roads. Make Klongs a centerpiece of your Bangkok vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Bangkok online trip maker.
