Spend a while walking down the short and entertaining thoroughfare of Khaosan Road. Named in honor of its rice milling heritage ("khaosan" means milled rice), nowadays this relatively small stretch caters mainly to backpackers, with a range of accommodations, travel agents, and bars. Somewhere between a party street and a place to organize your onward journey, the road provides services and entertainment to an almost exclusively international crowd, with English spoken in every business. By day you can explore the plethora of souvenir shops and international cuisine, before the music and dancing begin at sunset. Use our Bangkok day trip app to visit Khaosan Road on your trip to Bangkok, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.
Khaosan Road reviews
It is a great party place for foreigners, everyone have an alcohol drinks on hand . There are many stalls selling all sort of exotic foods like fried insect ,crocodile meats and etc..I been there twice few years back when i living in Bangkok ,just chill in a bar enjoy live band and beer with friends because we dont the chaotic environment throughout the whole street.
