Visit one of Bangkok’s largest selection of florists at Chatuchak Flower Market, a street lined with fragrant stalls selling a huge variety of plants. Browse through bonsai trees, exotic species, and even artificial plants, or just take in the gorgeous flora and snap some photos. Refrain from touching the flowers unless you intend to purchase them, however, because locals usually buy them to offer at temples. Chatuchak Flower Market reviews
The flowers here are gorgeous. Had a nice afternoon wandering the stalls. Got some great pics along the way! more »
So many different flowers to see and buy. Flowers are a very important part of Thai culture. Lots of people, but the selllers are very helpful. If you love your garden, you will love this place more »
Okay so there are so many different hours about the opening time here, finally went in November, the vendors actually started setting eveything on Tuesday afternoon, I came here around 7 pm Tuesday, shops 90% are open with very few customers, feels super nice walking around 200 shops with all kinds of plants. The plants here are incredibly cheap and so much variety, I believe you can get all kinds of plants you want here. Back to opening times, the official opening date are Wednesday and Thursday, but it will be super packed so I highly recommend you to come here on Tuesday night if you are the same like me, who enjoys shopping with less people 😉
If you are a plant enthusiast, this place is definitely good for you, there have different variety of plant species but only for small size plants ,if you want to buy a tree you might need to go to other places to get one.
