If I lived in central Valencia, this is where I would shop. The amazing variety of meat, vegetables, cheese, wine, olives, breads, seafood, and so on... if you pass through here as a tourist, like me, be sure to pick up a few little items to try out. A cup of olives, or a wonderful pastry. There is also a great little wine shop near the center of the market were you can get a three wine sampler for €3. Make sure you taste some Valencian wines!

It may seem like a touristic trap, but the visit is totally worthy! Actually locals do shop here as well. If it’s a touristic spot is because of its beautiful architecture and delicious food, but don’t we all like this kind of places? It is also a great place to buy good ham and Spanish cheese.
