The Miramar Palace (Spanish: Palacio de Miramar, also known as Palacio Municipal de Miramar or Palacio Real; Basque: Miramar jauregia) is a late 19th-century palace located on the La Concha Bay of the city of San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. It was built in 1893 commissioned by the Spanish Royal Family, based on an 1889 project by English architect Selden Wornum.

    We enjoyed the view from the gardens which are really interesting with a lovely selection of trees and well maintained gardens. A nice plae to just sit and look at the view and watch the world go by  more »

    It’s a nice place with sentimental meaning and a history. But there’s really not so much things to do here and most of the exhibits are in Spanish. So it can be difficult for tourists to appreciate the significance of the site, other than the old photos (which by the way, also lack the year that it was taken). A nice green patch for you to sit down and appreciate the view with the cooling breeze from the sea though.

    Interesting history and spectacular location. Worth a walk for the view alone. Grounds are lovely. Not much to see inside.
