El Rastro Reviews
Det var verkligen en stor marknad med olika karaktär. Först kom vi till en gata fullt av försäljare av turistiska föremål, kläder, saronger, väskor m.m. Väldigt lik alla marknader i hela Europa. Sedan... more »It was really a large market with different character. First we came to a street full of salesmen of touristic objects, clothes, sarongs, bags, etc. very similar to all markets throughout Europe. Then the character was changed and it went over to an antique market. Many antique shops in the area place objects outside their shops and are well paid for antiques. We lacked private salesmen when it was only professional salesmen here. There was no bargain for us but cozy to have visited this gigantic market.
if you want different Sunday morning shopping experience el Rastro is a great place to go you will find a lot of things a souvenir in good price in the open air more »
Very busy street market! Every sunday sellers mount their stands and offer a variety of goods: clothes, antiquities, accessories, ornaments, even esoteric stuff! The shops and bars nearby are open and add value to tour visit. Looking for something original at a unbeatable price? This is your place! Watch out for your belongings and wallets: there are many policemen and it is an overall very safe place, but caution is advised.
Great market, lots of products but mostly imports. Huge selection of t-shirts, phone cases and accessories. The place itself is beautiful, lots of greenery and nice people. Unfortunately no street food but many restaurants nearby. Really recommend looking around, don't just rush it. Walk around have a look, talk to people.
