    The Patio de Los Naranjos is in front of the Mezquita. It is a nice area with numerous bitter orange trees before you enter the Mezquita. My wife and I visited on All Saints Day this past November.....  more »

    This large garden is where Muslims washed before entering the mosque to pray, and the size of the garden reflects the size of the Mezquita Cathedral, and the size of Cordoba in the 10th century...  more »

    A relaxing walk under the trees.

    The square just out side of Mezquita. Lots of orange trees with a fountain in the middle. Used to be a place where worshippers used to clean themselves before praying. On a good day from here one can get a very beautiful minaret of the mosque that was left undestroyed. Worth spending some time after or before visiting Mezquita.
