You can stay overnight in the peaceful refuge at the summit ( as of August 2021 , it costs Eur 19.00 a night ) If you find steep sections of trails a bit tricky - take along some walking poles and... more »

We walked there from our hotel in Orient, which can be done in under two hours. It takes a “climb” of around 400 meters from there, but the views from the top are worth it. more »

An amazing experience to hike through the mountains, when finally reaching the top where you are able to grab a cold drink or a snack and enjoy the view. The best thing is to park at the restaurant nearby, and walk for there - then it will take you 1 hour to get to the top. The castle itself is in ruins, but still very charming.

Breathtaking view. Going there by bike makes it even more worth it, when you finally get there. But be aware. I parked my bike, and then I got back, both tires had been emptied for air by some sick person. Had to talk 3 hours to get to a gas station, to get air and could continue back home. The restaurant on the way done wouldn't help me at all. Even though I had eaten there earlier. That shouldn't have mattered though.
