Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati

#2 of 104 in Things to do in Makati
Garden · Nature / Park
Sit back and enjoy the skyline amidst greenery in Ayala Triangle Gardens, an urban oasis set in the heart of Makati's busy financial center. The 2 hectare (5 acre) grounds covered with tropical foliage host many joggers, walkers, and bikers, as well as a number of bronze statues of Filipino heroes. Check out a row of cafes and restaurants offering a retreat under the canopy. Inspired by London's Hyde Park and run by a major property developer, the park occupies the site of a former U.S. airport. At night, LED-lit skyscrapers and a light show put on quite a spectacle. • It has always been a must-visit place in Ayala either for hanging out or meeting friends, family or colleagues, walking around, running around, playing around, dining, buying convenience store items, or just taking a break from a busy workday. This place will never have a boring vibe. Every November, they set-up the Christmas/holiday lighting and innovate a new way to showcase it to ensure the lighting is not a repeat from the previous year. This lasts until the end of Christmas and New Year holiday.
  • A lovely place to sit and relax. This is always active with people roaming around here and there, eating food, dance/ music rehearsals and chit-chatting. On occasions, the garden hosts the magnificent light show from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Must attend and must visit!!
