Take a refreshing trip to Gitgit Waterfall, an impressive natural attraction. Just a short walk down concrete steps takes you to the most popular sections of the waterfall. If you wish to get away from the crowds and enjoy the water in a more secluded spot, you'll need to explore further. With numerous pools, run-offs, and boulders, the falls cascade pleasantly down the hillside, creating excellent photo opportunities at each turn. The cool water and picturesque surroundings make the area a great local spot for a swim. Nice waterfall. Worthy going there. The walk to the waterfall is by a path with local shops on both sides, I've been told it was 1km. The entrance was 20k. Before the entrance, at the parking, I was offered the services of a local guide, he said the money was for the locals to help them to develop. Also, they asked us for 2k for parking the scooter as donation. Just infront of the waterfall there is a nice spot for enjoying the views and maybe having some rest. There is also a toilet in that area, that was 2k (Feb 2019).
It's a natural beauty. It's preserved as how it is and is a warmth to the eyes. The turbulence and the cold water is worth taking a shower. You need to walk around and climb down the steps for around 700m from the main road to reach this waterfall and there is an entry charge as well.
