  • These buildings are located next to the Viking World Museum. You can see for free, bypassed for the sake of interest and general experience.

  • Stopped by before leaving to the airport. Really cool to see how some of the houses were built and how they may have lived. No other tourists were around which was nice. Couldn't go inside though. Worth a stop to take a look.
  • A nice little detour to visit traditional 1800's fisherman's cottage made from turf, stone & timber. There's a nice information sign and area to take photos. Not visited by many visitors in the area. But great to visit briefly before heading to nearby attractions. Note, the route to this area is not paved.
