Take time to visit the beautifully constructed Széchenyi Thermal Bath, the largest medicinal bath in Europe. The thermal water flowing at this spa comes from two springs and contains natural healing elements that are said to help lessen inflammation, joint illnesses, and other medical problems. Stunning Neo-Baroque buildings built in 1913 surround the outdoor pools, which are filled with steaming hot water. Watch locals playing chess, step into the indoor pools, take a seat in the saunas and steam rooms, or schedule a massage for the full spa experience. Make Széchenyi Thermal Bath a centerpiece of your Budapest vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Budapest driving holiday site.

Wonderful bath house with so many pools! They all vary in temperature and are fun to experience. As a foreigner, this was a cool place to experience! Also, there are 5-6 different saunas within the thermal bath area that are free to use and felt great!! Definitely check out at least one of them if you have a chance. My personal favorite was the aroma sauna, which has some sort of mint or menthol that made your whole body feel tingly! So refreshing :)

It was a wonderful place to go once. We really enjoyed relaxing in this beautiful place, but as far as the baths themselves go it was a bit disappointing. Most of the baths inside were pretty much the same. And the sauna's were too busy to enjoy them. Conclusion: if you want to visit a spa in Budapest, go to this one because it's beautiful and like no other! But do it once because every other spa has more variety in baths and probably less busy.
