Based on the British House of Parliament, Hungarian Parliament Building serves as one of the city's most beautiful landmarks with its recognizable neo-Gothic architecture. This site is the center of government activity, but it is also a magnificent domed structure and one of Europe's oldest legislative houses. This building was inaugurated in 1896 on the 1,000th anniversary of Hungary. Stroll along the Danube to take in views of the structure's exterior before entering. Walk up the building's intricate staircase and through its central hall, pausing to notice details like historic sculptures, stained-glass works, ornamental mosaics, and the Holy Crown of Hungary, which has been displayed here since 2000. One of the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever seen. It’s very symmetrical and you can see it from approximately everywhere around the Danube. Once you go inside there are some guided tours (approximately 45 minutes) that can provide you with useful information about the parliament and history. They are offered in many languages including English, German, Spanish, Italian, etc. The view from inside the building is also breathtaking. If you are in Budapest a visit is really worthy!

This is one of the best parliament buildings that I've ever seen. It’s very magnificent and a has lot of details that kept me wanting to keep looking around. It is beautiful both at morning and night. For a good picture of the whole building at night time, I recommend that you to go to the Margaret bridge. From Fisherman’s Bastion, you can enjoy the view of the Parliament as well.
