Fort Apugan, Hagatna

#3 of 9 in Historic Sites in Guam
Historic Site · Hidden Gem · Tourist Spot
Survey Guam as its Spanish rulers once did from Fort Apugan, the only fully preserved Spanish fortification left on the island. From its hilltop location, the fort offers far-reaching views and includes now-defunct cannons meant to ward off any potential attacks on the island. You can take an unbeatable photo or enjoy a hilltop sunset from the fort's west-facing lookout.
