It's in a corner opposite the tower of the winds. We were welcomed at the entrance and informed it was free to go in and look around. As its name suggests, there's lots of musical instruments to see.... more »
This very small museum is free, and great. Three floors of traditional Greek instruments, with information in Greek and english. There are some videos of people playing music, and headphones you can put on to listen to traditional music. Beautiful handmade instruments. About an hour or an hour and a half to see and really digest everything.
As a musician, I found the museum quite interesting, with many well-preserved traditional instruments and good explanations. However, several of the headphones to listen to examples were missing. Also, it's small, you can go through it quite thoroughly and it doesn't take too long.
