  • Quiet, reverent atmosphere, quaint interior. A piece of Spiritual haven tucked away amidst the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
  • Newly restored 600 year old church in the middle of Frankfurt am Main. The restauration -- although actually new -- seems entirely authentic and beautiful. Sadly, the church was almost totally destroyed in World War II and little remained except some exterior walls columns and arches. I recently attended a concert in this church, and the acoustics were excellent. I believe the church is open most days and is certainly worth stopping in to see, even though the interior is entirely a restauration. From its inception, it was conceived as a place of quiet and repose in the middle of busy Frankfurt. It succeeds.
